Your membership in JGS Toronto matters. It enables us to provide invaluable resources, access to genealogical records, and a supportive network to help you trace and document your family’s journey.
Dues
Our membership year runs from January 1 to December 31. Membership categories and dues for 2026 are:
- individual: $40 per year
- family: $50 per year (couple or all family members residing in the same household)
- student: $18 per year
All figures are in Canadian dollars. CDN$40 ≈ US$29.50 (as of 01 February 2026)
Renewal Options
Option 1: Renew online (recommended) — Quick and easy! Canadian residents receive a tax receipt immediately.
If you do not receive your tax receipt in your inbox, please check your junk/spam mail folder; it is possible that the tax receipt will appear there. (You can prevent this by adding [email protected] to your approved senders list.)
Option 2: Send an Interac e-Transfer to [email protected]
Option 3: Pay by mail — Make your cheque payable to Jewish Genealogical Society of Toronto and mail it to PO Box 91006, 2901 Bayview Avenue, Toronto, Ontario M2K 2Y6
Your tax receipt will be issued early in February 2026 for payments received by 31 January 2026. For cheques received after that date, a tax receipt will be issued in February 2027.
