Debbie Sacrob has literally grown up with genealogy playing a huge part in framing her vision. Her mother, Selma Sacrob, is a founding member (in 1985) of JGS Toronto. Debbie continues to carry the torch and to keep the light going strong.
At 17, for the first time Debbie, met relatives who shared her last name. She will spend countless hours doing her “investigative work”. With copious notes, progress charts and lots of letters written “the old fashioned way”, Debbie has found family, including relatives in Wilmington, Delaware. She enjoys sharing details of the genealogical adventure that took her from Toronto to Chicago and ended up in Wilmington.
For Debbie, the search is like finding pieces of a puzzle and putting them together.
