As you are probably aware, the IAJGS (International Association of Jewish Genealogical Societies) Conference will be held this year in Warsaw (August 5-10).

We are planning to hold an orientation session in Toronto. This meeting is open to conference participants, and to those still considering registering, as well as past conference attendees.  If you have travelled to Poland or Ukraine or other Eastern European countries please join us to share your experiences.

It will be an opportunity to meet with others attending, and to ask questions about previous IAJGS Conferences.
We have not yet finalized an agenda for the session, but are considering the following:

• Introduction by each participant
• Share travel plans
• Share information about side trips to your ancestral shtetl and other places
• Comments from those who have attended a previous IAJGS conference
• Comments from those who have previously travelled to Eastern Europe
• Suggestions for having a great conference experience
• etc. etc.
