In our excitement to tell you about this amazing program, we inadvertantly wrote March instead of May. Please note that the next Torgov screenings are happening on May 12, 2018.
TORONTO JEWISH FILM FESTIVAL HONOURS MORLEY TORGOV
The OJA and the Toronto Jewish Film Festival are proud to co-present this exciting series honouring the work of humourist and novelist, Morley Torgov. Torgov has brought to life stories about the Canadian Jewish experience with humour, warmth and a critical eye. The OJA is also the home to Torgov’s vast collection of manuscripts and drawings, providing future generations with unrestricted access to Torgov’s large body of work.
The TJFF will be showing three films based on Torgov’s writings on May 5 and May 12: Today I Am a Fountain Pen; The Outside Chance of Maximilian Glick; and The Making of a President.
