DESCRIPTION:Thursday\, 3 November 3 at 7 p.m. ET\nAttend online or in person at Lodzer Centre Congregation 12 Heaton Street\, Toronto \nPlease join special guest\, Jacob Steinberg\, as he recounts the story of the remarkable attempt by an extraordinary individual who attempted to save 125\,000 European Jews during the Holocaust by settling them in two of the most remote and uninhabitable parts of Australia. Q&A follows.\nFree event.  However\, donations in memory of Harriet Bograd\, long-time President of Kulanu\, who passed away on September 18th\, would be appreciated. All donations to go to the Abayudaya Jewish Community of Apac in Uganda. This community is building a school\, community center and synagogue and is part of the Kulanu family of communities.
