DESCRIPTION:Gil Bardage and Arthur Sussman return once again to deliver a workshop entitled “3 Stools”. \n  \nDate: Nov. 26 \nTime: Doors open at 10.20; Event begins at 10:30 \nJEWISH GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY OF TORONTO \n  \nDNA SPECIAL INTEREST GROUP (SIG)\nQ&A WORKSHOPS \nFeaturing our JGS Toronto members\,\nGil Bardige and Arthur Sissman \nSunday\, 26 November at 10:30 am ET\nVIRTUAL MEETING: Join from Home\nVirtual doors open at 10:20 am ET. \n\nWe are pleased to announce the return of our DNA Special Interest Group (SIG) program this year\, featuring our esteemed members Gil Bardige and Arthur Sissman\, both recognized as experts in Jewish DNA. \nThis is the first session of a four-part series featuring a presentation by Arthur Sissman titled “The 3-Legged Stool Protocol – for Genealogy and Genetic Genealogy.” \n“The 3-Legged Stool Protocol” explores the integration of Name\, Place\, and DNA in genealogical and genetic research. This condensed introduction is designed for beginners but also offers valuable insights for individuals already utilizing family trees and DNA in their family research. Arthur will provide a brief overview of the concept during the session. \nFor attendees\, an extensive Resource Guide will be made available during the presentation. For our members\, the recording link and the Resource Guide will be available at our website area\, Members Only section\, Past Presentations and Workshops. \nTo register for this DNA SIG workshop\, please go to jgstoronto.ca/register. You will then receive an immediate  acknowledgement plus the link to access the event on 26 November. \n\nThe presentation will be recorded. It will be available to JGS Toronto members in the “Members Only” section of the Society website a few days after the event.
