DESCRIPTION:Poland Special Interest Group\nGetting Back to Basics \nCoordinator: Hazel Boon \nThursday 20 Apr 2023\, 7:30 p.m. EDT \nVIRTUAL MEETING: Join from Home\nVirtual doors open at 7:20 p.m. EDT  \nAccording to Wikipedia\, “a special interest group (SIG) is a community within a larger organization with a shared interest in advancing a specific area of knowledge\, learning or technology where members cooperate to affect or to produce solutions within their particular field\, and may communicate\, meet\, and organize conferences.” My hope is that through this group we can guide each other through research issues we all face. \nAt our meeting on 20 April I’d like to take a look at the document I’m working on that specifies the surnames and towns In Eastern Europe being researched by our members. If you haven’t yet submitted that information to me\, please do so by 26 March. There are also some questions/issues that have been submitted to me by members. I will send them out\, along with any other questions/issues I receive\, to those who register for this meeting. Don’t be shy. We are all here to help each other learn about our ancestors/family and how they lived their lives.
