She is a researcher in the Earth Sciences Department and\nmanages the ancient DNA laboratory at the Natural History Museum\, London England.\nDr. Brace’s research centres on the use of genetic information from museum specimens to\nunderstand taxonomic and evolutionary relationships\, population structure and history\, and the\necological impact of past events. She has worked on a wide range of taxa including insects\,\nrodents and prehistoric humans\, with a special interest in highly degraded tropical material from\nthe Caribbean\, Indonesia and South America.\nHer current projects include working with museum bees\, investigating land-use change in\nIndonesia and population structure in Andean bears from Colombia.\nRegistration \nPlease watch this video\, History Cold Case – The Bodies in the Well\, before registering. \nTo register for this event\, please go to The Mystery of the Bodies in the Well – Classi Learning and select the free option.
